Yemen: Coalition jet fighters launch 68 air strikes against Houthi targets
Fighter jets from the Saudi-led Arab Coalition launched 68 air strikes at Houthi rebel targets in six Yemeni provinces over 24 hours from Wednesday to Thursday.
Four air strikes hit rebel sites in Nihm district, east of the capital Sanaaa, in addition to three operations targeting ammunition weapon caches in Sirwah district in neighbouring Marib province, Wam news agency reported.
Coalition planes also conducted 37 raids on the Iran-backed rebels’ reinforcements in Harad and Midi districts of Hajjah province on the Red Sea coast.
Six air strikes were also launched at targets in Taez province in south-west Yemen, Wam said.
