The Libyan eastern-based army on Friday said that its fighter jets have launched airstrikes on Chadian armed groups in southern Libya for the second time in less than two weeks.
“As part of the operations to secure the south, air force fighters targeted a site of Chadian gangs linked to al-Qaeda southwest of the Harug Mountains, causing human and material losses,” the army said in a statement.

Tunisian army troops have clashed with an armed group near a residential compound near the country’s western city of Kasserine.
According to a statement by the official spokesman of the Tunisian Defence Ministry, Belhassen Al-Waslati, the armed group, which was equipped with weapons, came close to one of the residential compounds in Kasserine.

Six Houthi rebels were killed Tuesday in clashes with government forces in Yemen’s southwestern Taiz province, according to a Yemeni military commander.
Houthi militants attacked three military positions in al-Quhayfah district in the province and temporarily seized them, triggering clashes with army forces, Col. Hamid al-Khlidi, told Anadolu Agency.

Front line sources report that clashes between BA’s 219th LIR and the combined forces of KIA battalions 36 & 38 took place in Muse township between Man Kang and Yihku villages at 7:30 pm on March 24.
The same day around 10 am, fighting also broke out near Lashap village in Mung Baw, and BA forces from Man Pying bombarded KIA positions with 120mm mortars to give their troops cover.
