Deadly clashes have been erupting between Islamic State for Syria and Iraq (ISIS) and Taliban terrorist groups in eastern Nangarhar province within the last 24 hours.
The clashes took place between the two terrorist groups in vicinity of Chaparhar district of the province.

An Indonesian soldier was shot dead and two separatist rebels killed in clashes with security forces near the giant Grasberg copper mine in Papua operated by Freeport McMoRan Inc, an Indonesian military spokesman said on Tuesday.
A separatist group, however, said that only one of its members had died and that dozens of Indonesian troops were killed in clashes that began on Sunday.

The African Union peacekeeping mission forces in Somalia (AMISOM) have killed at least 30 al-Shabaab fighters after militants attacked an AU base in the town of Bula Marer in the southern Lower Shabelle region, APA reports quoting ANadolu Agency.
The special representative of the chairperson of the African Union Commission for Somalia, Francisco Caetano Madeira, said in statement that AMISOM troops had fought off and successfully pushed back al-Shabaab militants Sunday.

A clash between Boko Haram fighters and Nigerian troops have left more than a dozen dead.
“So far we have recovered 18 dead bodies from the two villages Bale Shuwa and Bale Kura,” State Emergency Management Agency’s Bello Dambatto told AFP. “The victims were killed while trying to escape the fight between the insurgents and the military.”

An Indian Army operation against militants fighting Indian rule in the Muslim-majority Kashmir Valley killed at least 12 militants on Sunday, the largest one-day death toll of insurgents in recent years, officials in Kashmir said.
At least three soldiers and four civilians also died, and about 70 other people were wounded in the army crackdown in the district of Shopian, according to the Kashmir authorities.
