Armed clashes between the Afghan forces and the Taliban are still ongoing in the capital of western Farah province as 3pm Monday.
Gen. Raz Mohammad Oryakhel, the commander for 207th Zafar Military Corps, told Pajhwok Afghan News that militants launched a coordinated attack on the capital of Farah on 2am last night and entered parts of the city on 5pm Monday morning.

At least 52 Palestinians have been killed and 2,200 wounded as Israeli troops opened fire on protesters at the border with Israel.

The family that carried out suicide attacks against three churches in Surabaya, Indonesia, Sunday was linked to Jamaah Ansharut Daulah (JAD), a jihadi group that supports ISIS, according to Jakarta officials.
ISIS claimed responsibility for the assault, which it called “martyrdom attacks,” on the east coast of Java Island, but provided no proof to substantiate its claim.

Suicide bombers carried out attacks on three churches Sunday in Indonesia’s second biggest city Surabaya, claiming at least 13 lives and wounding 40, according to officials.
ISIL claimed responsibility for the suicide bomb attacks through the group’s Amaq news agency without providing any evidence.

At least 19 people have been killed in fresh clashes between Myanmar’s military and an ethnic armed group in the remote northern Shan state, as fighting in the country’s borderlands intensifies.
“Nineteen [people] were killed in fighting” on Saturday, a military source said, adding that two dozen had been injured.
