Three PKK terrorists including two women were “neutralized” in Turkey’s southeastern Siirt province, according to a security source.
Turkish authorities often use the word “neutralized” in their statements to imply that the terrorists in question either surrendered or were killed or captured.

At least 115 people have been killed and 383 injured in month-long clashes between rival factions in Tripoli, Libya’s health ministry said on Sunday.
The fighting pitted the Seventh Brigade, or Kaniyat, from Tarhouna, a town 65 km (45 miles) southeast of Tripoli, against the Tripoli Revolutionaries’ Brigades (TRB) and the Nawasi, two of the capital’s largest armed groups.

Gunmen fired on a military parade in southwestern Iran on Saturday, killing 25 people, almost half of them members of the Revolutionary Guards, state news agencies reported, in one of the worst attacks ever on the elite force.
State television said the assault, which wounded more than 60 people, targeted a stand where Iranian officials had gathered in the city of Ahvaz to watch an annual event marking the start of the Islamic Republic’s 1980-88 war with Iraq.

As many as 265 militants belonging to different proscribed organisations have abandoned their armed struggle against the state and handed over their weapons to the government while announcing plans to join mainstream politics for the development of the country.
The militants, along with their commanders, laid down their arms in a ceremony held at a lawn of the Balochistan Assembly on Tuesday.

The Sudan Liberation Movement-led by Abdel Wahid al-Nur (SLM-AW) declared a three-month unilateral cessation of hostilities to allow humanitarian access to civilians in landslide-affected areas in Jebel Marra.
Torrential rains and landslides killed at least 21 people in Sampali area in eastern Jebel Marra on 7 September. However, the Sudanese authorities and UNAMID were not able to reach the rebel-controlled area due to the security situation there.
