Syria: Army steps up assault as jihadists are caught deploying more troops to Hama frontlines
The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) has stepped up their assault in the Hama countryside, today, after more jihadist troops were seen making their way towards the frontlines in the designated buffer zone.
According to a military report from the Hama province, the Syrian Arab Army heavily targeted the town of Khirbat Al-Naqous after members of Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham were seen heading towards the front-lines with the government forces.
The Syrian Arab Army’s attack comes just hours after the 11th Tank Division heavily targeted Jaysh Al-Izza’s positions around the key town of Al-Lataminah in northern Hama.
In addition to their attacks on northern Hama, the Syrian Arab Army has also been targeting the jihadist defenses in southern Idlib.
