BA’s 111th LIR troops currently stationed at Lawa Pa, Mada Bum launched an attack on KIA’s 44th Battalion position at Gwi Htun Bum in Hpakant township on Dec 3 at around 1 pm. BA troops began the attack by firing 10 artillery rounds on Gwi Htun Bum followed by infantry units. The two sides battled till 4:40 pm in the afternoon.

Democratic Republic of the Congo: Clashes between army and rebels kill 15 people in region of South Kivu
Fifteen people have been killed in eastern Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) in clashes between troops and rebels loyal to a former general, the army said Monday.
It said the fighting was continuing Monday in Fizi, a region of South Kivu, a mineral-rich province which is prone to ethnic tensions.

Heavy clashes are ongoing between Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) and ISIS across Hajin region, mainly on the northern front of the town, in Deir ez-Zor countryside where SDF’s Operation Cizire Storm to end terror in the region continues at full speed.

Yemen: Army kills 40 Houthi militants in clashes in Al-Baydah
Yemen’s national army clashed with the Houthi militia in Al-Baydah province on Friday leaving 40 militants dead and dozens wounded, Saudi state-news agency SPA reported.
Military sources quoted by the official Yemeni news agency said that clashes between the army and militia in Malajim directorate left 30 militants killed.

Afghanistan: Taliban infighting leaves dozens of militants dead
Afghan officials say clashes between two Taliban factions have killed dozens of militants in the country’s west, underlying divisions in the militant group that has waged a deadly 17-year insurgency against the Western-backed government in Kabul.
Jilani Farhad, the spokesman for the governor of Herat Province, said at least 28 Taliban fighters were killed and 25 wounded in the Shindand district, near the border with Iran, on November 30.
