Rwanda on Tuesday accused Uganda of supporting rebel groups opposed to President Paul Kagame’s government, amid a resurgence of hostility between the African neighbors.
Relations between the two nations soured last week after Rwanda blocked Ugandan cargo trucks from entering its territory at the busiest crossing point, Katuna, and barred its nationals from crossing into Uganda.

Members of Yemen’s national army killed 70 Houthi militants and injured several others during clashes in Saada province, national military website “September Net” reported on Monday.
Among the dead was a Houthi leader who was killed in the clashes, Brigadier Saleh Al-Majeedi told “September Net.”

A Syrian group linked to al-Qaeda killed 21 regime and allied forces on Sunday near Idlib province, in one of the deadliest breaches of a six-month-old truce deal, a monitor said.
“At dawn, 21 fighters from the regime forces or allied militia were killed in an attack by Ansar Al Tawhid militants,” the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said.

The Kurdish-led Afrin Liberation Forces launched a new attack against a group of Turkish-backed Free Syrian Army (FSA) fighters in the Afrin region on Saturday.
According to reports, the Afrin Liberation Front attempted to attack the Free Syrian Army’s 3rd Legion along the Deir Mushmush axis in Afrin.

Taliban insurgents targeted an Afghan army corps at their camp in southern Helmand province, killing at least 23, officials said Saturday.
Omar Zwak, spokesman for the provincial governor, said 16 other troops were wounded in the attack that began Friday and continued into Saturday in Wahser district.
