Over the past 24 hours, Armenian armed forces have violated the ceasefire along the line of contact between Azerbaijani and Armenian troops 22 times, the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry said April 29, Trend reports.
The conflict between the two South Caucasus countries began in 1988 when Armenia made territorial claims against Azerbaijan.

At least 17 Syrian government troops and their allies were killed by two armed groups in Syria’s northern province of Aleppo, a war monitor said.
About 30 others were also wounded in the Saturday morning assaults by Hay’et Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) and its ally Hurras al-Deen, the Britain-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said.

Boko Haram fighters in northeastern Nigeria have attacked and overrun an army outpost, stealing weapons before fleeing, military sources said Saturday.
Gunmen from the Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP), the IS-linked faction of Boko Haram, attacked the base in Nigeria’s northeastern Borno state late on Friday, two military sources said.

Fighting between the Islamic State terror group and Taliban insurgents has displaced more than 450 families in eastern Nangarhar province in recent days, Afghan officials told VOA.
Fighting erupted Monday when IS militants attacked areas under Taliban control in Sherzad and Khogyani districts of Nangarhar province, officials said.

Somali armed group al-Shabaab has carried out an attack on African Union troops’ base near Bulamerer town, about 110 kilometers southwest of Mogadishu.
The attack triggered heavy clash between Ugandan troops under African Union mission and al-Shabaab after an attack on AMISOM base in Golweyn area near the town.
