Israel: Israel struck Syrian army bases in the country’s south
Israel struck Syrian army targets in near al-Harra, where Western intelligence sources previously said Iranian-backed militias are based, Syrian official news agency SANA reported Tuesday.
At least six people were injured in an Israeli rocket attack, a monitoring group reported on Wednesday.
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights told DPA that the overnight attack injured four Syrian soldiers and two members of allied paramilitaries.
The targets Israel struck belonged to the Syrian army and to militias working with it, Syrian media reported.
Tell al-Harra is a strategically located area in southern Deraa province overlooking the Golan Heights.
