A group of 62 Islamic State terrorists, including 30 Pakistanis and two Turkish nationals, surrendered to Afghan military forces in the Nangarhar area on Tuesday.
The Afghan government, which is busy arranging extradition for captured foreign nationals, said the latest in a series of surrenders indicated ISIS is losing its ability to effectively resist the national military.

At least 19 people were killed in a new rebel attack in the eastern Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) as anger grows against United Nations peacekeepers and security forces for failing to protect civilians.
The latest attack on Wednesday took place after fighters belonging to the Allied Democratic Forces (ADF) rebel group went into a village near Oicha, about 30km (14 miles) from Beni town.

Syrian forces intensified their attacks against Takfiri militants in the northwestern Idlib province, managing to retake a village there.
Syrian troops succeeded in seizing back al-Musheirifa village on Sunday afternoon following fierce clashes with members of the Jabhat Fateh al-Sham Takfiri terrorist group, formerly known as al-Nusra Front, SANA reported.
