A massive fire erupted at an oil depot in Crimea after it was hit by two of Ukraine’s drones, a Russia-appointed official there reported Saturday, the latest in a series of attacks on the annexed peninsula as Russia braces for an expected Ukrainian counteroffensive.
Mikhail Razvozhayev, the Moscow-installed governor of the Black Sea peninsula’s port city of Sevastopol, posted videos and photos of the blaze on his Telegram channel.

A recent fight between Russian army soldiers and mercenaries from the Wagner Group reportedly escalated into a shootout in Stanytsia Luhanska, located in the Russian-controlled Luhansk Oblast of Eastern Ukraine, according to claims made by the Ukrainian General Staff.
The daily evening briefing stated that casualties were reported on both sides during the clash, as per a report from Sky News.

Around 320 Sudanese soldiers have fled fighting in their country and crossed the border to surrender to the Chadian army, Chad’s defense minister announced Wednesday.
Elements of the Sudanese army, including 320 gendarmes, police and military personnel, have entered Chadian territory, where “all have been disarmed and confined,” General Daoud Yaya Brahim said while speaking at a press conference, local media reported.
