The leaders of three of Myanmar’s most powerful ethnic rebel groups fighting the junta recently claimed that the regime will be toppled soon as it is losing its multi-front war.
The junta is losing ground across the country, except in Rakhine State where the Arakan Army agreed a temporary ceasefire after intense clashes across the state.

The Kachin Independent Army (KIA) says it seized two Myanmar junta outposts and one held by the regime-allied Shan Nationalities Army (SNA) in Hpakant Township, Kachin State, on Monday.
The KIA attacked outposts on Mt Kathaing and at Nam Hmaw village and an SNA position near a bridge in Sal Zin village in Myanmar’s jade-mining hub, according to Colonel Naw Bu, the KIA spokesman.

“So long as a peace treaty has not been signed and such a treaty has not been ratified by the parliaments of the two countries, of course, a (new) war (with Azerbaijan) is very likely,” Pashinyan was quoted as saying.
Pashinyan presided over an Armenian defeat in 2020 in a war over the breakaway region of Nagorno-Karabakh, during which Armenian-backed separatists lost large amounts of territory in and around the enclave.

Intense fighting between the military and anti-junta forces in Myanmar’s Chin and Shan states since the weekend left 19 dead, including four civilians, RFA Burmese has learned.
The clashes, which killed an 11-year-old boy and left a dozen civilians injured, are the latest to erupt in two areas known as hotbeds of resistance to military rule since the Feb. 1, 2021, coup d’etat.

Pakistan’s army said attackers from Iran killed four of its border patrol soldiers.
The soldiers were part of a routine border patrol operating along the Pakistan-Iran border when fighters attacked in the Jalgai sector of Kech district, the military said in a statement on Saturday.
