Yemen’s separatists have abandoned self-rule, agreed to implement a stalled peace deal with the Saudi-sponsored government, and acceded to joining forces with its military in the conflict with Houthi rebels.
Yemen’s government spokesman has expressed hope that this would be a “serious and true start” to the implementation of the deal.

Turkey has sent hundreds of newly recruited mercenaries to Sirte in Libya to fight alongside the forces of the Government of National Accord (GNA) against General Khalifa Haftar’s Libyan National Army (LNA), the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported.
Turkey sent 400 mercenaries to Libya last week, while about 250 others returned to Syria, bringing the total number of Syrian mercenaries sent to Libya to 16,500, the director of the Syrian Observatory, Rami Abdel Rahman, said.

Israel Defense Forces (IDF) Spokesman Brig. Gen. Hidai Zilberman said this afternoon that Israeli troops thwarted a Hezbollah attack near the border with Lebanon.
According to reports, a Hezbollah cell of three to five operatives crossed the Blue Line border a few meters into sovereign Israeli territory. The troops then opened fire at the group with machine guns and tank shells.

The Israeli military on Friday said its helicopters struck Syrian army targets in response to mortars fired toward the Israeli-occupied Golan Heights.
“A number of targets were struck, including SAF observation posts and intelligence collection systems located in SAF bases,” the military said in a statement, referring to the Syrian Armed Forces.
