The Israel Defense Forces announced a full withdrawal of ground forces from southern Gaza on Sunday, leaving a smaller force to maintain operations in the whole of the strip.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu also delivered remarks at the beginning of a cabinet meeting on Sunday, reiterating that Israel would not agree to any cease-fire unless Hamas frees all remaining hostages. The bulk of the troops withdrawing in the coming days will be leaving Khan Younis, which had served as Hamas’ central bastion in the south.

Israel has placed its military on “full alert” and called up reservists, in anticipation of a potential Iranian response over a suspected Israeli strike that killed key Iranian military officials in Syria earlier this week.
Israel’s military has cancelled leave for all combat units nationwide and increased the drafting of reservists to enhance aerial defences amid fears of Iran firing barrages of missiles and drones into Israel.

The Syrian Arab Army ambushed a terrorist cell affiliated with Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham on the axis of Jabal al-Zawiya in southern Idlib, resulting in the killing of all terrorists.
The sources clarified that the cell was attempting to advance towards Syrian Army in the northwest of Kafr Nabl in Jabal al-Zawiya.

US, British and French forces say they repelled a series of Iranian-backed Houthi attacks off the coast of Yemen.
US military said at least 28 uncrewed aerial vehicles (UAVs) were downed over the Red Sea early on Saturday.

Two Israeli-Argentinian men taken captive by Hamas on October 7 were rescued on Monday in an early morning raid in which the Israeli military carried out airstrikes that local officials said killed around 100 people in the southern Gaza city of Rafah.
The hostages, 60-year-old Fernando Simon Marman and 70-year-old Louis Har, had spent 128 days in captivity. Both men are in relatively good condition and have since reunited with their families.
