At least 13 people have been killed in fighting between armed groups in the Libyan capital, Tripoli, a spokesman for the city’s emergency services said.
Fighters exchanged fire in a central district where several government and international agencies, along with diplomatic missions, are based, and clashes spread to the areas of Ain Zara and Asbaa on Friday.

The Israeli military struck targets belonging to Hamas in the Gaza Strip after four rockets were launched from the blockaded coastal enclave toward southern Israel, Trend reports citing The Jerusalem Post.
The targets included an underground infrastructure to manufacture rockets.

Eastern Ukraine continues to see intense assaults from Russian forces, according to the Ukrainian military, but the British Defense Ministry has questioned whether Russia has made any significant advances in the last 72 hours.
Russian forces have attacked the west-central Ukrainian city of Vinnytsia, with at least 21 dead and 90 wounded, according to latest report from the emergency services on the scene.

Troops under Operation Hadin Kai have reportedly killed ten Boko Haram terrorists in an ambush between Magumeri and Gubio road in Borno State.
DAILY POST learnt that the terrorists mounted a check point and abducted scores of commuters around Titiya village on Tuesday.
