The Russian losses in the invasion of Ukraine have exceeded 100,000 soldiers dead with about 660 dying just over the past 24 hours, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said on Thursday morning.
In total, Russia has lost 100,400 soldiers, 3,003 tanks, 5,981 armed vehicles, 1,978 artillery systems, 283 warplanes, and 267 helicopters, the tally reads.

President Vladimir Putin claimed that Russia is ready for talks to end the war in Ukraine even as the country faced more attacks from Moscow — a clear sign that peace wasn’t imminent.
Putin said in a state television interview, excerpts of which were released on Sunday afternoon that Russia is “prepared to negotiate some acceptable outcomes with all the participants of this process.”

Two maoists, a man and a woman, were killed in an encounter with security forces in a jungle in Bijapur district of Chhattisgarh Friday morning. The police said the encounter took place during an anti-Maoist operation undertaken jointly by security forces of Chhattisgarh and Maharashtra.
The incident took place around 7 am in a jungle area near Tekameta village in the jurisdiction of Farsegarh police station in Bijapur.

At least 22 regime forces including two junta-appointed administrators, as well as a resistance fighter, were killed in the last two days as People’s Defense Forces (PDFs) and an ethnic armed organization (EAO) continued to attack regime targets across the country.
Incidents were reported in Sagaing, Mandalay, Magwe and Bago regions and Mon and Karen states.

Russia’s permanent representative Crimea Georgy Muratov warned Greece not to transfer Russia-made anti-aircraft missile systems S-300 to Ukraine, saying it would be an ‘irrational display of hostility towards Russia’.
Speaking to the Russian state news agency RIA Novosti, Muratov said: “Such a move by Athens would not only be an irrational display of hostility towards Russia, but also a dangerous step towards its own national interests, as the Greek public opinion is already resoundingly emphasising”.
